Logan Square Condos

2200 Arch Street Condos

2200 Arch St.
Philadelphia, PA 19103

Once the Philadelphia Daily News Building, 2200 Arch Street Condos was converted to condos after the building sat vacant for many years (I believe it was close to 12 yrs). Now a beautiful condo conversion, the building was finished as modern, industrial lofts featuring concrete columns and exposed ductwork. When the building was being developed, the original purchasers had the choice between dark or light hardwood flooring and either dark slate or white marble bathrooms (units with 2 bathrooms got one of each). The units at 2200 Arch Street Condos also feature very large windows, dark granite counters, stainless steel appliances, extremely high ceilings, and some units even have balconies. There is a 24-hour doorman, an attached garage with deeded parking, and a fitness center on the lobby level. The elevator enclosure is glass, so in addition to the views each individual condo offers, the elevator ride also provides some pretty spectacular views. There are one, two, and three bedroom units and both bi-level and flat floor plans are available. The bi-level penthouses on the 12th floor have really large roof decks with a hot tub, as well as, grill and television hookups. Definitely a very cool building, otherwise I wouldn’t have lived here for over 2 years.

River’s Edge Condominiums

2301 Cherry St.
Philadelphia, PA 19103

Located on the corner of 23rd and Cherry Streets and steps away from the Schuylkill River Trail, River’s Edge Condos is a 96 unit condo building located along the Schuylkill River’s edge…hence the name. The building provides easy access to major highways, University City, 30th St. Station, and even the business district. There is an on-site garage in which most units have parking, and there is a really great communal roof deck. The major appeal is that the building is centrally located and within walking distance to many of Center City’s offerings, yet it’s slightly off the beaten track in a more quiet area of Logan Square. Its location to the river and the river park/trail is a major draw as well. Running and cycling enthusiasts basically have a playground at their doorstep. This is a doorman building, and it’s cat friendly.

2201 Condos

2201 Cherry St.
Philadelphia, PA 19103

Located on the corner of 22nd and Cherry Streets, 2201 Condos consists of one and two bedroom units. All condos come with parking, and many come with a balcony. This is a great building for those who want to live in the city, but work outside of it, due to the parking, but also because of its proximity to the highways. The building is moderately priced for the 19103 zip code, and certain units offer pretty solid views. Directly across the street is a great neighborhood bar named Cherry Street Tavern that serves one of the best hot roast beef sandwiches in town. It’s also a pretty good location for those who need to regularly utilize 30th St. Station, and those who frequent University City. 2201 Condos is pet friendly.
